A Thing Called Fashion

How to Layer for Fall like a Fashionista

Firstly, Happy Dussehra Everyone. After a week long holiday, I am back to work. Not loving it obviousy ! But no worries, Diwali holiday start in few days. This month is filled with festivities.

Oh ! Have you read my post on The Ethnic State of Mind. Read Read !! 🙂

It’s fall time already !! There was a time when Bangalore had an air-conditioned weather but now it swings to extremes. From bone-chilling weather to scorching sun and in-between surprise rain showers is how I would define Bangalore weather. I am sure most of the Bangaloreans will agree with me on that. You can always wear a light sweater, jacket & sweat shirt in this weather. One of my favourite part about Bangalore is that you can wear a crop top and a jacket on the same day ! I love coats and knits but knits are something I rarely wear. With coats and jackets, it’s fun styling. Your goal is to be warm and not look stupendous. If you are confused how to layer your jacket or coat, wait till you read the entire post ! You are at the right place !! 🙂

It’s always a pleasure to have new combinations or options because like they see we always spend time figuring out what to wear. So to ensure you have the coolest option, I am here with a new blog post on “How to Layer Like a Fashionista”. It would not only keep you warm, but also make your outfit interesting. From dress to floral or contrast jackets is all you need.

Layering to me is all about pairing different type of clothes together to look cosy. It’s actually pretty simple. All you need is a cardigan on a tank top or a coat/blazer on a dress. I personally prefer wearing 3/4th sleeve and if not then always layer something on whatever I wear. I was the happiest when they introduced those long shrugs, they are extremely comfortable and chic. So have fun styling this fall !!
