The GilletteVenusBreeze Launch – Subscribe To Smooth

If you are social media enthusiast like me, you might be aware of the Gillette campaign that all the bloggers did on social media. They recently launched Venus Breeze Razor in India, which comes with two moisture bar, unlike any other razor. Therefore making it easier for anyone to razor on moist skin without any shaving gel or soap. A few days back Gillette came to Bangalore for the launch. Bangalore bloggers were invited to the rendezvous with Kalki Koechlin. Kalki has an amazing personality. She is not only adventurous with life but also an amazing artist. I have been an ardent fan of her since DevD. We also had Namrata Soni (Celebrity Makeup Artist) and Dr Rashmi Shetty (Celebrity Dermat) with Kalki Koechlin on the stage busting all the shaving myths. Namrata Soni talked about how while travelling waxing was impossible and her friend introduced her to Gillette Venus Breeze (wasn’t launched in India by then) and since then she had no complaints with shaving. She also spoke about the technology applied in the Venus Breeze. Kalki spoke about how in our daily lives we are always in a hurry and often cut ourselves while shaving fast. She also shared her thoughts on Venus Breeze’s angle which makes it easier to slide it on the skin favourably. It is true though, we always remember about the hair after we are ready and hence the scuttling with the razor which always results in injuries. Dr Rashmi Shetty helped us with pre and post care routine for shaving so that your skin doesn’t itch.

Influencers and bloggers had few queries related to shaving which was acknowledged by all three guests on the stage. They answered all the questions asked and clarified how the new Venus Breeze razor is surprisingly convenient and easy to use. All of us have funny razor stories since we first used it, so did the influencers. We shared our stories and laughed at the situations we have been in with normal razors. The event was very informative and amusing with all the knowledgeable people around us. Post the event we had tea and snacks served which continued with photo sessions later in the beautiful courtyard of The Oberoi.
