That Blue Dress Featuring Afamado

The struggle to find that perfect dress is real. I know the scuffle that we go through when in need. I am inclined to long bodycon dresses because it emphasises on my curves and also love the concept. There have been so many websites and stores I have surfed for that perfect wine & dine dress. Unfortunately rarely found something worth. aMy wardrobe is filled with summer and casual dresses and when it comes to a nice cocktail dress, I have just two. So I decided to look for dresses that could be perfect for dinner and any official party. Obviously, can’t wear a casual dress for an official party or a meeting until it’s a casual brunch kinda event. So there I was stuck in between casual and two bodycon dress. That is when I decided I needed colours and was tired of seeing blacks and greys in my wardrobe.

A few days later I came across this dress on Afamado and fell in love with it. The semi off shoulder dress with bell sleeves was everything that I needed. I was in the 80’s mood and had already got myself some cold shoulder and bell sleeves tops. The fashion industry has been stuck with cold shoulders and bell sleeves this year for the longest time. Every store I enter have only these on their shelves and it’s hard to ignore. Not that I have issues with it but I love them too. This was immediately added to the cart. Not only was it body con and well fit but checks all the other need in my search for that perfect cocktail dress. This is the kind of dress that doesn’t need anything more added to the outfit like accessories. Although Spanx would be great. Trust me on that! Looks like the colour blue is in this season with all the fashion brand hoarding boards promoting their latest collection in the shades of blue. It’s a summer thing!

This blue dress would make a perfect dinner outfit. If you still want to spice up this elegant dress, you can add a simple neckpiece that is not very bold to stick to the nature of the dress.
