As promised, here I am with what I wore this Durga Puja. I had a lot more in my mind but due to the heavy rainfall in Bangalore, I couldn’t try out what I had planned for that specific day but you will see it soon on the blog. Rain didn’t stop us from going out and hogging like a scavenger though. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, Durga Puja is also about styling yourself like there is no tomorrow. All this while, I was crossing the dates on my digital calendar in anticipation of the festival and it was all over in the blink of an eye. Sigh!!
I have documented my outfit details in this post as mentioned. This year, I decided to go for desi outfits with a western twist. I surely had fun dressing up and heading to the pandal for all those days. You might have noticed that I carried the same bag the entire time for three days continuously, that’s because changing my bag every day would have been a terrible idea because I always forget to transfer something for the other. So I decided to carry the same bag which had room for all my essentials for the day. Though, I didn’t need a lot of things – some money, portable charger, house keys, and my lip balm. Surprisingly, the bag matched perfectly will all the outfit that I wore. Is red the new black? Changing bag according to what you wear is a major task and I didn’t really have the patience to shift all my stuff from one bag to another every single day.
The outfit details are mentioned day-wise and also tagged to their respective profile. In case you want to check out their collection, you know what to do. Just click on the link! I would love to know how you would like to style your saree.
