A Thing Called Fashion

The Casual Kind

There are times when you want to spend and lot of time in front of the mirror & dress up and there are times when you want to party in your PJ’s. I have cancelled plans with friends a lot of times on days when I didn’t want to dress up and go out. I wish I could just wear something casual to places which has a fancy dress code. This post is dedicated to those days when I don’t want to dress up! I am sure a lot of you will relate to it.

I have been a crazy dhoti pant fanatic since a very long time and thankfully still obsessed with this particular indo-western style. It’s comfortable and fashionably accepted too. Well, who cares about the fashionably accepted part if you are confident in what you wear. With atleisure wear trending like fire, casual wear is also gravitating. My style is all about mix & match. I may have a signature style but I also love experimenting with things that is a tad bit risky for a curvy body type. The more experiments you make, the better. That’s the mantra my friend!

Not that I follow celebrities and try to replicate the same but there are a few inspiring fashionistas. Trendy fashion sometimes begin with them. You can see the trends change with the type of clothes celebrities are papped in. From glam to casual and biker shorts. You can see the drastic fashion trend change. What do you have to say about that?

Coming to the post : Blame it on Sex & The City or Devil Wears Prada and other movies that showed working women walking to work with a classy bag and a coffee take away to work. I always wanted to walk or drive to work like that but I don’t think it will happen in the near future with the kind of job responsibilities I have. Hence, I tried to fulfil this little dream of mine by walking into the shoot location with a colourful coffee mug that I bought from Westside. On a different note, I am really impressed with the home decor section of Westside. Have you been to that side of the store ever? I can’t wait to have my own house to fill it up with those amazing stuff. By the way, the mug was an impulsive buy because I don’t drink coffee but now that I have this fancy thing, I have started making coffee at home to use it. Do you do that too?

Without any further ado, I shall let you enjoy the pictures. Comfort pants are a must have! That’s all I can say for now.
