A Day in My Life

Olaplex Hair Treatment at BodyCraftSpaSalon

Happy Holi ! May the festival of colours bring you lots of happiness and prosperity. 🙂

Well, I had a relaxing weekend. On friday, I was invited by Bodycraft for hair treatment with their newly launched product in India-Olaplex. Olaplex basically claims to reconnect broken bonds in the hair. The treatment is called a bond multiplier, which limits damage to hair during or after colouring. This is a three-step process.

I have been colouring my hair since last two years and have also seen hair loss in the process. In my college days, I had luxuriant hair but slowly the density of my hair reduced, which got me thinking. Olaplex seemed like an interesting hair treatment procedure to try. Before they could start the process, the Olaplex expert checked the strength of my hair to spot the changes post my Olaplex treatment.

The No.1 Bond Multiplier is the first fluid concentration used to rebuild the bonds and this is what begins the process of preventing damaged hair which repairs the hair too. After the application of the concentrated first salon step, you would have to leave the fluid on your hair for 10 mins. If you are someone who globally colours the entire hair, you also have the option of mixing the hair colour with the bond multiplier. But this mix can only be done in the salon.

No.2 Bond Perfector is a step used to rebuild and restore any remaining broken bonds of my hair to guarantee strong and healthy hair. If you have mixed colour with the lightener, apply no.2 after rinsing the colour from your hair. Otherwise use it post No.1 step. You can shampoo next and see the results by checking the elasticity of a strand from your hair.

No.3 Hair Perfector is basically is a home bond builder that can be used at home once in a week. This hair perfector relinks the broken bonds in every type of hair. The strength of your hair increases by 25% per treatment.

Although you can’t find the change physically, you would have to check the repaired bonds electronically and the strength of your hair by pulling your hair softly without breaking it (i.e elasticity).

Head to Body Craft Salon for your Olaplex Treatment and let me know how you feel about your hair post the treatment.

  1. I quite liked the treatment. Yes, there was no visible change in the shine and texture, but my hairfall has reduced a bit over the past few days I feel 🙂
