Feeling Blue feat. Samshek

We relate “feeling blue” to Mondays strongly. Just after an amazing weekend or rather secluded one, all you need is a motivational Monday. I have rarely had an amazing Monday except for the time when Monday was a holiday. There are times when I head to an e-commerce website to gift myself something. Well, I am crazier than that, on few occasions, I sometimes gift wrap my shopping bag. Lol. A retail therapy is always motivational. There are times when I surf through some websites and fall in love with the design or the fabric of the top just to realise I don’t quite like the sleeves. I don’t wear sleeveless, therefore when I buy one, I have to add a shrug or a jacket to that top. Don’t you wish you could customise the same top or dress into something that you want it to look like. Tailors and sewing machines can only be useful when you have extra material to add on or want to reduce a long sleeve to 3/4th, short sleeves or sleeveless. What if you see a sleeveless top online but want to add a sleeve or change the actual material? Ah! No Not magic. Samshek it is!!

Samshek is not just like any other fashion website that sells tops, dresses etc. It’s an amazing web page for people who would like to customise their outfit before they buy it. You can make changes from the dress/top length to sleeves. Samshek also lets you select the fabric of your choice from the list. The best part about this trending website is their size customization. For a curvy individual like me, the top might fit me perfectly on my shoulders but might vary from the actual size on my waist. So, instead of buying the size I actually fit in, I would have to opt for a size larger to fit well. This is where personalised size tab would work. You can enter your bust, waist, hip and height details on the page to get the perfect fitting. Aren’t you already impressed? I am sure you are!

I got myself this blue crop top from Samshek. Since I had the freedom to change the style, I chose a bateau neckline instead of a normal U-neck and also modified the long sleeves to 3/4 sleeves. The fabric options provided for that particular top was either silk or georgette and I selected georgette. Felt like I was sewing a crop top for myself virtually. The independence to transform your clothes is always a fun game.
