Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser – Review

 

Finding the right skincare product is pretty tricky always, because a product purchased can either work or ignored. Few months back, Kiehl’s and The Small Town Blogger came together to organise “An Afternoon with Kiehl’s“. We had invited few friends and bloggers from Bangalore for consultation. It was a fun evening with the Kiehl’s consultants. I did learn a lot about my skin that day. They also gave me a bag full of products to use according to my skin. One of them was the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleaner. People who have read my beauty blog posts or know me, know that I have a tan prone skin. Not that I don’t love getting tanned but the tan also makes my skin dry and rough unfortunately.

It was during one of my trips to the beach, when I decided to carry this along with me. Without any expectations, I used the product like a face wash. I was delighted to see the after effects. The liquid cleanser is thick and also has a foaming agent. The foam is soft and gentle. All you need is a grain size amount for your entire face. No Kidding !! Not only does it cleanse my skin, brightens it but also removes make-up instantly. The skin does feel a little dry and naked after a while, but there is nothing that a moisturiser can’t do.The one that I received was a 75ml tube  which would cost Rs. 895 and have been using this product from last 6 months.

All you need to do is apply a speck of facial cleanser on your fingers and gently massage your damp face with the it upwards. Rinse thoroughly. As simple as that.

This Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser is composed of  Squalane, Apricot Kernel Oil, Vitamin E, and Avocado Oil, this gentle formula dissolves excess oil, dirt, and debris. This mild cleanser is specially formulated with a sugar-derived glycoside foaming agent to thoroughly cleanse skin and remove makeup, without over-drying or stripping skin of its natural oils.
