Tunic Praxis feat. Calae

There was a time in college when my wardrobe was only filled with Kurtas and tunics. Fabindia was my second home then. I have seen this brand change drastically in all these years. That was the time when tunic and cotton kurtas were affordable in FabIndia but now a simple pattern kurta is not less than some obnoxious price. I am disheartened to see this change because I was a loyal customer. With loads of textiles available in the city at a throwaway price, it’s easy to get it stitched than buying the same style from a store. If you are a lazy person, that option will never work out. Going all the way to the small shops to get the right textile or material and then go to the tailor sounds like a day long work to start with. Trust me, I have started doing that after realising how expensive brands around me have become and it’s satisfying.

Bangalore has this weird dress code rule in some colleges i.e. western outfits are not allowed. That resulted in ample amount of kurtas and tunics. That was the only time I wore them too and later after graduating I rarely bought any. I went a little crazy with this tunic and tried wrapping a scarf around my head which obviously turned out crazier than I thought it would.
