New Years Outfit Idea #4

Bling it up!

While I was looking for gold and silver outfits in my wardrobe, I found this multicoloured bling top that I had bought ages ago from Vero Moda but never wore it. I would always ask my friends to have a bling theme party just so I could wear this top because normally it’s just too sparkly for my style. Christmas and New Years are just another reason to wear the bling and the shimmers that have been lying in the corner. This season lets you shine bright like a diamond without feeling awkward or the odd one out. If you have a party coming and want to stand out of the crowd, a glittering outfit is an answer. The point of a bling outfit is to show off even if it’s fake. Blingy, shiny, metallic and sparkly clothing are the head turners this season. It’s the best time to add some bling to your mundane style.

You can also go badass from head to toe in black and then add a blingy accessory to look all fancy. A big shiny purse, blingy necklace or a shiny jacket or shrugs are few of the options you can try.

I am telling you, this is the best time to go all sparkly even if lazy and easy outfit is your style. Bid them a temporary goodbye and say hello! to the blings and shimmers in your wardrobe. Blings are the much-needed energy to whatever you are wearing but if you go wrong then it only takes few seconds to go from wacky to tacky. Just keep it simple and yet flashy!

So what are you waiting for, take out the shimmer and the bling outfits you have been hiding and add those sparkles to the world. It’s the season of lights and sparkles. If too much shimmer is not your thing, then just have one of them blingy and rest subtle to balance out the jazz. I paired my bling top with a black pencil skirt and added a pink woollen shrug to it for an add-on colour.
