New Years Outfit Idea #5

The last post of this year 2017.

Just few more hours before the new year 2018 kicks in. Hoping that you have sorted out your new year plans. This post is not only the last one from the year 2017 but it is also the last from the series I started #NewYearOutfitIdea. You can always go back to the blog and read all the other posts from this series.

Indo western post has been pending for a long time and what better way to end this year’s post. I won’t exactly call it Indo-western because I have just wrapped the end of the saree differently, otherwise, it’s a typical way of draping it. Pardon me if you have noticed issues with the way I draped mine because I am not accustomed to wearing sarees but tried my level best to decently wrap it around me. My parents had got me this one for the Durgapuja and styling this pretty saree was pending. Trying out new drapes with my own quirk is my thing.

The pictures from this post remind me of those cold winter mornings in Durgapur where a bright ray of sunlight is what we would run around the garden for. We would grab a stool or a chair and place ourselves right below the sun at an angle. The combination of chilly weather and sun is tranquil. I am sure some of you will relate to this scenario. Personally, I love the way pictures of this post have come out.

If you are a saree lover and don’t want to follow the crowd, wrap any bright or shimmery saree in a casual way. I have tried different ways in which you can drape a saree in my earlier posts which can be tried too if you don’t like this particular one.

P.S. Because of the sun and sweat, after few shots the blue bindi vanished. :p
