A Thing Called Fashion

Winter Love

I am a month late with this “Winter Love” post. Call me lazy but I decided to start my new year from February rather than January. There are still few cities that are either snow-clad or chilly, so this post is dedicated to people living in moderately cold cities.

I love hats and ugly sweaters. Winters are a perfect time for the winter fashion but unfortunately, Bangalore isn’t immensely cold during winters unlike other cities up north. On the other hand, during summer we rarely get terrified of the sun because Bangalore weather is bae. I can’t complain! Shoes and boots are something I adore (My dad will agree to that). I also believe that the outlook of the outfit changes with the type of shoes you choose to wear. A skater dress and heels will result in a party outfit whereas the same skater dress and sneakers will turn into a casual or a sporty outfit. Agree?

While I was surfing the internet for red boots, I came across this amazing pair of maroonish ankle boots from Ajio. What lured me more towards this beauty was the silver detailing on the boots which give it an indo-western vibe. I couldn’t keep my cool the moment I received them and decided to pair it up with a monochrome shirt dress and jeans. Don’t underestimate the power of boots during winters. Whether tucked into a pair of jeans or styled with a shirt dress, a pair of red boots make any look pop. Fold your jeans up a roll or two to show off that pair of eye-catching ankle boots.
