Instagram has it’s pros and cons and I shall share only the pros of this medium. I have met a lot of wonderful people via Instagram who are now my dearest friends and support system. There is so much talent in this world and part of it is visible on this creative platform. They say fashion is a materialised field. On the other hand immensely innovative, experimental and original.

I met Abhiruchi on Instagram and fell in love with her style right away. Her styling is what I connected to and since then we have been wanting to meet up. Most of the times, the city life turns you into a sloth on weekends and that was another reason why we couldn’t meet soon. This time we made sure not just to meet but collaborate together on a trending style that we curated in our own way.

The red hot trending athleisure word was recently added to the fashion dictionary and it’s here to stay for long. This sports leisure segment has become a casual and yet a fashionable trendsetter. Sneakers and leisure wear sales have increased like never before in our country. I am not an athleisure person unlike my dearest friends Shivani Boruah. She is doing a brilliant job and you should check out her feed to know what I am talking about.

One fine day I pulled myself out of my lazy business and met Abhiruchi and Arjun for the collaboration. We walked around brigade road to find a rustic spot and found this hidden abandoned rest house. We knew this was the perfect location for our collaboration. So, me and Abhiruchi decided to take up this trend and style it accessories our way. I went with “Bappi Lahiri style” adding a gold head pendant and an Indian ethnic waist belt to the outfit. Whereas, Abhiruchi went for some appealing tribal silver jewellery. Athleisure is all about comfort clothing and we are all about our love for accessories. Hence, the combination of both in this post.
