A Thing Called Fashion

Easy Monochrome Summer Outfit

This post is one of those posts that was forgotten to be posted. If you can recollect, I had shot this particular outfit in the month of April but later got extremely busy and lazy in life.

Off late the blogging industry in Bangalore, India has not been very motivating unlike the good old organic days. Everyone is running around in a haphazard way not knowing what to do and where to go. People with good content are finding it extremely difficult to be recognised because of the number game.

Should bloggers with good content just ignore what they love and stop blogging? Should we stop getting bothered by the number game scenario? I am confused! I can’t agree to just one part of the problem. I desperately want to ignore the inorganic scene and move forward with my pure work but there are some things that pulls you down unknowingly. Everyone needs a pat on their back even for the smallest thing possible which is missing! We all (organic bloggers) need that pat to get back on track with full power. There was a time when just posting a blog and working on it felt rewarding in a weird way. Do you agree with me on this feeling? I am blaming my “no new posts & content” on this phase.

On a different not by diverting from the negativity, lets talk about monochrome shades. This post is about monochrome summer outfit idea where I have styled a light weight summer dress with a long white shrug and sneakers. If you are person who is obsessed with dark shades then you will understand. I am totally into this trend. Monochrome is a very easy outfit to style. Not just that, it looks good on everyone. It’s all about minimalism and neutralisation of colours.

The moment the sun shines bright, we look for light pastel colour and flowy outfits. There is something about the colour black that gives me a boost and makes me feel supremely comfortable. Well, that’s what the dark shades do to me. Another reason why I don’t mind wearing black even when the sun is shining bright on a summery day. They say the more black you wear, the more powerful you look. I am all about it!
