I am conflicted with winter in Bangalore. Nevertheless, as the weather begins to cool, now is the perfect time to refresh your winter essentials.
Winters apparently is a great time to start running but the reality is that it’s dark and cold early in the morning. This weather tends to wreak havoc on my skin. From dry skin to chapped lips. I am sure you would agree with me! Like I said in my earlier post on everyday essential, I usually have minimal essentials to take care of myself on a daily basis. Not a very makeup friendly person but when it comes to weekends and partying with my soul mates, I do take time out to colour my eyes for sure.
So here I am with my winter essential!
- Cetaphil Moisturiser
I have been a Johnson moisturiser fan since my college time, but during winters it doesn’t do justice to your skin. A friend suggested Cetaphil to me which made me get one. Cetaphil works wonders on dry skin, especially during winters.
- The Body Shop Body Lotion
I love The Body Shop products, one of them being the body lotion. Their body lotion are not only beautifully scented but also light weight. It hydrates the dry skin and leaves it soft and smooth.
- Forest Essentials Body Mist
Forest Essential has amazing body mists infused with modern aesthetics. An authentic skin care brand with it’s foundation in the ancient science of Ayurveda. These body mists softens, hydrates, scents your skin with a harmonious effect on the senses.
- Chambor & Maybelline Lipstick
Nude lip colours are always the best for everyday use. I am addicted to the nude shade and wear it everywhere and anywhere. But I make sure I apply lip balm before the application of a lipstick. So that my lipstick doesn’t wear out during winters.
They can rejuvenate our minds and energise our senses. I make sure to wear perfume before I leave the house.

Thank you 🙂
body butter from TBS is a must have for me in Bangalore weather. Here in Chennai, well not so much.
I really need to revisit Cetaphil. I remeber trying it way back, but not liking it much. But i think it is time to give it another chance. My absolute winter essentials will be a super nourishing lip balm and a good body scrub. I am super lazy with moisturizing 😀
Love this! I’ve been really lazy with skin care this year and haven’t done much, but I swear by coconut oil for moisturizing and hydrating your skin. Works wonders.
